Kassels districts
The 23 districts of Kassel stand for an attractive living environment in all directions. In the West, the sophisticated district Bad Wilhelmshöhe fluently merges into Europe's biggest hillside park. In the North, there are the quarters Kirchditmold, Harleshausen and Philippinenhof-Warteberg, embedded in meadows and fields, which are especially popular with families. You can live very central in the art nouveau of the district Vorderer Westen, in the Südstadt, which is bordering the spacious Karlsaue or directly along the river in the modern architecture of the Unterneustadt. In the East, Bettenhausen with its rural flair nestles along the renaturized small river Losse.
